Getting started

If you are just getting started on your home buying journey, let the dedicated staff at Elk Ridge Heights help you through every step of the way.  Here is a quick and easy step-by-step guide that will help guide you through the process.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Step 1: Budget

• What's your monthly budget?
• Do you have a home to sell? If so, no problem! Ask about our re-sale program.

Step 2: New Home Selection

• Choose your home site
• Choose your home style (Two-story, Rancher, etc)
• Meet with the builder to customize your home and placement on the lot

Step 3: Financing

• Contact your mortgage lender or Ron Thomas at Prime Lending 509-216-3333 (Elk Ridge Heights' preferred lender)
• Construction Loan vs. Traditional End Loan 

Step 4: Finalizing

• Sign purchase & sale agreement or construction contract 
• Construction begins
• Decide on finishes (flooring, cabinets, paint, fixtures, etc) 

Step 5: Home Sweet Home

• Final walk-through of home
• Sign closing and loan documents
• Move into your dream home!
